we should arrive at The Farmers Dog – Jeremy Clarksons very British pub by 10.45 – the Farmers puppy – Hops and Chops – The Diddly Squat shop will all be open and the pub opens at 11am – we will spend a couple of hours here then board the coach again at 1.15 for the short drive to Wood Bros Distillery  – the real life farming business featured in the new series of the show – they supply products for The Farmers Dog.

We will be joined by Nigel from Hawkstone Brewery and Charlie from Wood Bros on this tour.

We will be split into two groups for a rather wonderful afternoon.

Upon arrival, we will all be handed a welcome drink then half of us will dive into the world of craft distilling, walking through the history and unique approach to producing spirits from field to glass.  There will be plenty of opportunities for tastings, and we will finish the tour in the Wood Brothers bar, where you can sample the full range of gin, vodka and liqueurs.

While this is going on our other group will be taught the history of Hawkstone, how the lager is brewed etc with some rather generous sampling.

We will then swap over to incorporate both tours!

We will then get back on the coach at 4.30 for our drive home.

The price of this rather wonderful day out is £50pp

To ensure you receive your travel reminder and payment details if you choose pay in two please remember to send a text message to the group mobile number: 07304 044920. This will allow us to store your number in advance and make sure your reminder is sent in a timely manner. If you have chosen to pay in two it enables me to send you via whatsapp all payment details.  It is your responsibility to message me. We also create a WhatsApp group for each event for any updates – this gets deleted once the event is over.

Pick Up Points and Travel Reminders

Before completing your booking, you will be asked to select your preferred pick up point and time. It is important to make a note of your chosen pick up location and time, as reminders for your pick up will not be sent until the day before travel.

Providing Additional Information

During the checkout process, there is a ‘note’ box available. Please use this space to share any information you would like us to have prior to your journey. If you do not travel well by coach or require a seat nearer the front, please include this request at the time of booking. While every effort will be made to accommodate seating preferences, we cannot guarantee a front seat due to the high number of similar requests.

Order Confirmation and Tickets

After you have placed your order, you will receive a computer-generated confirmation email.  Please note that, although this email may indicate that tickets are attached, these are not your entry tickets. All tickets are held by us and will be handed to you as you board the coach.

Special Requests

If you have any special requests, we will always do our best to accommodate them. However, please understand that we cannot guarantee all requests will be fulfilled.

Travel Plans and Reminders

No detailed travel plans will be sent out in advance. Instead, a reminder will be sent to your mobile phone the day before your scheduled travel. It is therefore essential that the lead booker’s name and mobile number provided on your order are those of the person actually travelling.

The coach will pick up at the entrance of the free car park

HATFIELD GALLERIA AL10 OXY – park Mcdonalds side – walk out to main road and at the side of the building by The Odeon and opposite the Aldi sign you will find the bus stop
